The idea of Timber® Candles came to mind one day when Vance Kitira was at work as a forester in Thailand. He filled a hollow, jointed stem with river bed clay and left it to dry overnight. The next day he was very pleased to discover how the inside beauty and texture of the bamboo had created a rustic individual pattern in the clay and the idea of the original Timber® Candles was born.......
All Timber® Candles are hand poured using pure premium food grade paraffin from Taiwan and high quality colours from England. These ingredients together with 100% cotton wicks from America become a quality candle with a fantastic clarity and very long burning hours. The beautiful handtied palm and bamboo decoration is a patented trademark of Vance Kitira. Timber® Candles have fantastic characteristics and their individual and rustic appearance make them at home in a rustic casual environment as well as in a glamorous uptown surrounding. 3 New Spring Timber Candle ColorsIn spring 2012 we launch 3 strong new colors: Honey Suckle, English Blue, Bud Green. Unlike most candle companies, Vance Kitira has always been known for carrying almost all colors incl. the 'unusual' colors. Oyster is a fantastic new color. It lays in between grey and white and with its mother of pearl glow it is extremely beautiful. Holly Green is a more intense and characteristic green color than our excisting green colors. It is a perfect green not least for the upcoming Christmas time. |
